NEWSCARF/PRODUCTION OF SPACE

In this project, I explored different disciplines to approach the ideas, firstly I used C -map to generate some ideas, also read books to broaden my insights and visualise the ideas in the real world, I also visited several spaces to observe how people engaged their books. I went to various types of libraries, like community and university.

Finally I decided to focus on the mobile reading like passengers reading on the transportation.

So I documented the moment by going to the tube, train station in the early morning.

• Method: use C-map to map a wider interpretation about reading

• Method: research reading this book gives me poetic insight about reading.

• Method: Drawing movement of readingI went to the community library to see people reading in a different way according to their sex ,age, personality... ect.

Method: Drawing space of reading. People have different habits and engagement of spaces.

• Method: This book gives the insight when words and technology of print were invented, how the communication has started.

Method: After a serious of drawings, I found some invisible spaces when people started to engage their books.This book talks about the hidden dimension which varies based on races, sex, cultural differences.Edward started to observe the habitats of animals and their gradually changeable populations. And he found certain rules applied in the human's behaviour which shaped the people's territory.

Method: study of proximity on the tube.I draw the different reactions and certain distances varied by groups on the tube.

Method: After a series visual observations about the human behaviour, I start to look at how certain technology or(invention) physically changed the way of human beings behaviour and the communication. This book provides the profound explanations about some artefacts which we always ignore but play a key role in our daily life.

Method:This book used scientific and cognitive way to approach the human experience , the main idea is the complexity and nonlinear logic about the formations in human behaviours.
